Geri Wiseman - Member-At-Large
Geri Wiseman joined the Missouri Department of Conservation in 2010 as the Training & Development Coordinator. She manages the Professional Development Academy, chairs the Professional Development Steering Committee and coordinates, as well as develops and conducts a variety of training programs. She is a member of the Missouri State Training Advisory Council.
Geri has worked in the training industry for over 25 years, conducting training for various organizations including the Missouri Lottery as the Employee Development Manager and for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Aurora, Colorado, where she produced and directed training videos.
She has a bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's Degree in Education from Drury University. Geri believes life-long learning is key to professional growth and contentment. She is passionate about helping others achieve their developmental goals. She grew up in the Lake of the Ozarks area and loves any activities that get her outside and on-the-go, such as bicycling and walking. She has been married for over 17 years and has two stepchildren, a daughter-in-law and enjoys her new role as a grandma!
