Lesley Hendrix - President 

Lesley is aTraining Technician II for the Missouri Department of Economic Development - Division of Workforce Development. She began her employment at DWD in May, 2017. As the Training Technician II, Lesley is responsible for developing and maintaining materials for the DWD's training services. 

Prior to joining DWD, Lesley worked at Missouri Department of Higher Education as a Training Services Coordinator, Windham Professional as a Regional Client Representative and at Columbia College as a Senior Financial Aid Coordinator, Accounting Clerk and Perkins Loan Coordinator.

Lesley completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Central Methodist University.


Jason Herman - Past President

Jason is a Communication Coordinator at the University of Missouri. He works for the International Center which is responsible for coordinating international student/scholars and study abroad programs at the university. His responsibilities include instructional design, e-learning development, creating videos to enhance learning and managing social media. Jason is happy when he gets to merge his passion for learning with his love of culture.

Prior to MU, Jason worked as a training specialist for over 12 years in the private sector for insurance and mortgage companies. He has extensive experience in curriculum design, facilitation and succession management. He has developed leadership classes, programs and initiatives to meet company strategic goals. Before joining the private sector, he was a K-12 social studies teacher. 

Jason has a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Missouri with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from MU with an emphasis in broadcast. He enjoys spending free time with his two daughters and wife by going to the theatre or attending sporting events. 


 Geri Wiseman - Member-At-Large 

Geri Wiseman joined the Missouri Department of Conservation in 2010 as the Training & Development Coordinator. She manages the Professional Development Academy, chairs the Professional Development Steering Committee and coordinates, as well as develops and conducts a variety of training programs. She is a member of the Missouri State Training Advisory Council.

Geri has worked in the training industry for over 25 years, conducting training for various organizations including the Missouri Lottery as the Employee Development Manager and for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Aurora, Colorado, where she produced and directed training videos.

She has a bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's Degree in Education from Drury University. Geri believes life-long learning is key to professional growth and contentment. She is passionate about helping others achieve their developmental goals. She grew up in the Lake of the Ozarks area and loves any activities that get her outside and on-the-go, such as bicycling and walking. She has been married for over 17 years and has two stepchildren, a daughter-in-law and enjoys her new role as a grandma!
